| Abstract: |
|
In today's era, when fighting crime and global terror is on the top of the public agenda, the use of trained dogs in the security and policing field both in Israel and abroad has become more and more common and efficient. The dogs are trained to detect drugs and any other contraband substances that can be used in a terrorist attack or criminal acts. The unique program was established around the children of the Manof Youth Village which grants a once in a life time opportunity to youth at risk who have experienced academic, social and family shortcomings and haven't succeeded in past educational frameworks.
